About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful delivery of projects within our organisation. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional with a proven track record of managing projects in large companies. This role will be part of the parent company Downtown Music, working with the different divisions in the business to deliver on integration and cross-function projects. The successful candidate will not only manage project plans but also take ownership of execution, ensuring milestones are met and resources are optimally utilised.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Utilise modern project management tools such as Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, or similar platforms to track progress and coordinate tasks effectively.
- Proactively drive projects forward, ensuring accountability across teams and resolving bottlenecks as they arise.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear communication and updates on project status, risks, and dependencies.
- Identify and request necessary resources, ensuring optimal allocation to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including timelines, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations.
- Facilitate meetings, stand-ups, and reviews to keep teams aligned and focused on key objectives.
- Work cross-functionally with various departments to ensure seamless coordination and execution of projects.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in project management within a large corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of modern project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects forward and ensure teams deliver on commitments.
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in resource management, including identifying needs and requesting additional support as required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to work across time zones and manage remote teams if necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications).
- Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives.
