Doxim's Next Application Programmer
We’re looking for an Application Programmer to develop and maintain reporting and data processing solutions that support accurate, timely client communications and print-and-mail operations. You’ll collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into reliable SQL queries, reports, and automated workflows that meet project deadlines and quality standards. You’ll also troubleshoot technical issues, implement lasting solutions, and help ensure Doxim delivers dependable service that meets client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Report & Data Management: Build and maintain SSRS reports and SSIS pipelines; craft complex SQL queries for analysis.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot data issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
- Project Delivery: Drive report development and enhancements from requirements to deployment on schedule.
- Customer Satisfaction & SLA Compliance: Deliver accurate reports on time, resolve issues quickly, and exceed SLA expectations.
- Collaboration & Communication: Partner with cross-functional teams and clients to align requirements and progress.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to accuracy and quality
- Understanding of relational data modeling and technical SQL proficiency in MS SQL Server or other DBM
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet project deadlines, and proactively flag risks or issues
- Clear communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.
- Project management and time management skills
- Familiarity with T-SQL for writing and optimizing queries
Proficient knowledge and experience with:
- MS Office
- SQL Servers
- Windows PowerShell
- Cloud Bases Database platforms (Azure, AWS RDS)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in software implementation, applications configuration, technical support, or document composition
- Print-and-mail / variable data programming experience.
- Database experience (SQL Server, stored procedures/functions; general DB familiarity).
- Working knowledge of Unix command line and/or shell scripting; Windows PowerShell experience.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote environment
Physical Demands: This role requires prolonged periods of sitting and extensive computer use, including frequent use of a keyboard and mouse.
Travel: Up to 10%; may include industry conferences and corporate events.
FLSA Status: Exempt
