Position Summary

As an HR Generalist at Diamondback, you’ll be a vital link in our chain of success—overseeing onboarding, payroll, and general office administration. You’ll also play a strategic role in shaping HR policies and procedures, ensuring we continue fostering a positive, employee-centric environment. Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Employee Engagement

  • Manage a seamless onboarding experience, welcoming new hires and setting them up for success from day one.
  • Encourage an open-door policy, serving as a trusted advisor to employees and providing solutions that drive engagement and retention.

Payroll Administration

  • Oversee full-cycle payroll, ensuring timeliness and accuracy while addressing any employee concerns with empathy and precision.
  • Collaborate with finance/accounting to streamline processes and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.

HR Policies & Compliance

  • Update, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures that reflect our company’s values.
  • Stay informed about federal, state, and local employment laws, maintaining a compliant and fair work environment.

General Office Administration

  • Support day-to-day administrative tasks such as file management, office supply orders, and scheduling.
  • Ensure a well-organized office environment that sets the stage for our team’s productivity and morale.

Talent & Performance Management

  • Partner with managers to facilitate performance reviews, offering support and guidance on best practices.
  • Proactively identify professional development opportunities and succession plans, laying the groundwork for your own growth into a management role.

 

Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience with a focus on onboarding, payroll, and office administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).

Technical Skills

  • Strong command of payroll systems and HR software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • A knack for problem-solving, balancing empathy with firm decision-making.
  • Driven, detail-oriented, and eager to step into a leadership role as your career progresses.
