The Opportunity
As a Journeyman Electrician at DP Electric, you install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects across the state of Arizona. You read the prints, bend the pipe, make the terminations, and deliver work that meets NEC standards and passes inspection the first time, whether you are running solo or working as part of a crew.
This is a hands-on role for a licensed tradesperson who takes pride in clean, code-compliant work and sets the example for the apprentices coming up behind them. It rewards technical skill, sound judgment, and dependability, and it opens a clear path toward field leadership at DP Electric.

- Bend and install various types of conduit, including EMT, rigid, and PVC.

- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing effective solutions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute accurate installations.
Code Compliance and Safety
- Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to maintain compliance and prevent hazards.

We recognize that experience comes from many paths. An equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience that results in successful performance of the job is welcomed. Additional education may substitute for required experience on a one-for-one year basis, or vice versa.

This is a field-based role performed on active construction sites, both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to weather and jobsite conditions. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, crawling, working at heights, and working in confined spaces, and requires wearing personal protective equipment. Expect a fast-paced environment that calls for focus and sound judgment under pressure.
