The Opportunity

The Senior Logistics Specialist leads the logistics staff who keep a jobsite supplied. You will coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and tools, and make sure field crews have what they need to execute the work efficiently and safely.

Two things separate this seat from the Logistics Specialist role. You will take the more complex jobsites, where material volume and coordination demands run heaviest. And you will lead, training and assigning the logistics staff working alongside you and evaluating how they perform. Expect to be on your feet and moving through the shift, same as the crew you lead.

What You'll Do

Lead the Logistics Staff

  • Lead, train, assign, and evaluate other logistics staff.
  • Take the more complex jobsites, where material volume and coordination demands run heaviest.

Receive and Track

  • Receive materials at the jobsite, verify deliveries, and check items into the ordering system.
  • Organize materials in a central laydown area and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Track rental equipment and tools, including unit IDs, maintenance needs, and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate equipment and tool logs so field leaders can rely on them.

Get It to the Crews

  • Deliver materials and equipment from the laydown area to field crews as requested.
  • Offload and relocate tools and rental equipment to designated work zones.
  • Operate forklifts, telehandlers, and aerial lift platforms as needed.

Keep the Site Supplied

  • Support field leaders and site purchasing agents with stock level monitoring and restocking.
  • Communicate with field managers to prioritize logistics and resolve material issues.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) years of experience in logistics, inventory coordination, or warehouse support.

Preferred

  • Experience in electrical construction or materials handling.
  • Familiarity with KOJO or another material tracking platform.
  • Forklift, telehandler, or aerial lift training.

We recognize that experience comes from many paths. An equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience that results in successful performance of the job is welcomed. Additional education may substitute for required experience on a one-for-one year basis, or vice versa.

Work Environment

This is a field-based role performed on active construction sites, both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to weather and jobsite conditions. The role involves lifting 50 pounds or more, standing and moving throughout the shift, climbing, and working at heights, and requires wearing personal protective equipment. Expect a fast-paced environment that calls for focus and sound judgment under pressure.

  • Comprehensive health benefits: medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) with company match, eligible after one year of service.
  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). You are an owner of this company.
