About the Role

As a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, manage, and scale our high-performance computing environments. This role bridges the gap between traditional system
administration and modern platform engineering, focusing on reliability, automation, and the stringent security requirements of the financial services industry. You will be responsible for a
hybrid ecosystem that spans AWS cloud and on-premise systems, ensuring 99.99% uptime for mission-critical services and transactions.

What You’ll Do

  • Linux Systems Engineering: Design and manage high-performance Linux environments including Ubuntu, RHEL, or Amazon Linux. Focus on tuning for low-  latency financial applications and system-level hardening
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Architect and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible, treating infrastructure as a software project with version control
    and peer reviews
  • Hybrid Networking: Manage connectivity between cloud environments and on-premise systems, focusing on secure VPC design, VPNs, and routing
  • On-Premise Management: Manage physical switches, routers, and firewalls, with an understanding of multicast, VLANs, and interface aggregation
  • CI/CD & Release Engineering: Build and optimize deployment pipelines to ensure system updates, patches, and application code are deployed safely and frequently
  • Observability & Reliability: Implement comprehensive monitoring (using Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana) to track system SLIs/SLOs and implement automated alerting or self-
    healing scripts
  • Container Platform Management: Support and scale Docker / Podman environments, focusing on pod networking and container runtimes
  • Infrastructure Security: Implement "shift-left" security, including OS-level hardening (SELinux, AppArmor), automated vulnerability scanning, and IAM policy refinement

What You’ll Need

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field
  • Systems Expertise: 3+ years of experience in Linux Administration or Infrastructure Engineering
  • System Internals: Deep knowledge of system performance profiling (e.g., top, iostat, strace) and comfort with Linux system fundamentals (i.e. Systemd, LVM, and Cron)
  • Automation Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure and system automation. Bash and/or Python experience for custom tooling as required
  • Cloud & Networking Fundamentals: Hands-on experience with AWS Networking fundamentals (VPCs, Routing Tables, and Nat Gateways). Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and routing protocols like BGP or OSPF
  • Container Runtime: Experience with container runtimes in a Production environment (Docker / Podman, Docker Compose). Kubernetes experience is a plus
  • Problem Solving: Ability to perform root-cause analysis on complex distributed systems

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. DriveWealth is unable to sponsor an employment Visa at this time.

Special Knowledge (Nice to Have, But Not Required)

  • Compliance Knowledge: Experience working within regulated environments such as SOC2, or FINRA
  • High-Availability Architecture: Experience building multi-region, failover-capable architectures for mission-critical financial transactions
  • SDLC Architecture: Architecting deployment pipelines using GitHub actions, familiarity with AWS Secrets Manager for managing sensitive secrets, and other DevOps toolchain
    services
  • Fintech Protocols: Basic understanding of financial messaging or low-latency requirements, such as FIX protocol
  • Security & Application Tuning: Experience with WAF, DDoS mitigation strategies, and tuning edge application services such as HAProxy
  • Certifications: CompTIA Linux+, RHCSA/RHCE, or AWS SysOps Administrator

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
