About the Role:

Dr. Squatch is rapidly growing, and with our continued expansion, we need a Transportation & Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team! If you are a Supply Chain professional with a passion for logistics and strong attention to detail in data, this role is for you. 

This role will report to the Senior Logistics and Transportation Manager.

This is a full-time role with company benefits based in Marina Del Rey, CA.

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $70,000 to $77,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate International and Domestic shipments with freight forwarders, freight brokers, and 3PLs to ensure they arrive in a timely manner using the most cost-effective method
  • Assist with maintaining and publishing reports through TMS and ERP systems 
  • Preparing and managing all international paperwork 
  • Assist with managing inventory levels at international 3pls
  • Ensuring we comply with international trade regulations and laws for all shipments
  • Maintain relationships with warehouses, freight brokers, and vendors, both internationally and domestically
  • Assist with analyzing and managing costs associated with shipping to international markets
  • Work cross functionally with other internal teams for product launches to ensure inventory will be on hand by expected date
  • Assist with continuous process improvements and developing SOPs
  • Ability to react quickly to shipping problems and come up with creative solutions
  • This role will provide essential support to the team and responsibilities may change as the team grows

About You:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understand urgency and ability to react quickly to problems
  • International shipping experience required
  • Ability to problem solve and figure out resolutions with minimal support from manager
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP and TMS systems 
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in logistics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Experience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferred
  • Someone who is a team player, who has high standards, takes ownership and is invested in the outcome
