Role Overview
As the ProdOps Manager, you will play a key role in driving Duckbill’s operational and product strategy. Reporting directly to the Cofounder & GM, you will manage a skilling group, ensuring we meet our key performance indicators (KPIs). This role requires cross-functional collaboration with copilots, operations, business development, tech, and product teams.
Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining dashboards, conducting and analyzing experiments, developing rollout plans, managing workforce planning, updating workflows, and coordinating with relevant teams. You will use both quantitative and qualitative insights to drive product and operational decisions that propel Duckbill forward.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Initiatives
- Lead strategic projects that blend data analysis with product and operational improvements to enhance the experience for both members and copilots.
- Define and track key product and operational KPIs, ensuring continuous progress.
Dashboard & Performance Monitoring
- Own and maintain performance dashboards to track the success of new features and initiatives within your skill group.
- Use data insights to guide decision-making and optimize performance against KPIs.
Workforce Management
- Forecast and manage workforce needs to ensure adequate staffing, aligned with our member base and turnaround time (TAT) commitments.
- Analyze data to dynamically adjust staffing plans.
- Work alongside the training, recruitment, and quality teams to onboard and develop top-tier copilots.
Workflow & Process Improvement
- Design and implement workflow enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
- Develop structured processes to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, tech, design, and product teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Facilitate coordination across departments to support successful feature launches and iterations.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to inform operational and product strategies.
- Use data to support decision-making and improve user experiences.
What We Look For
- Drive: Passion for fast-moving environments, AI applications, and a GSD (Get Shit Done) mentality.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong data analysis skills; SQL or the PyData stack is a plus!
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaboration: Proven experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
Additional Responsibilities
- Develop and present data-driven reports and visualizations to stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor product performance and recommend improvements based on data and feedback.
- Scale your skilling group to ensure robust processes that optimize both human copilots and AI technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a tech or AI-driven company.
