Position Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Lead Producer to spearhead the strategic planning, development, and execution of content for the Dude Perfect Gaming channel. In this role, you’ll lead the charge in producing high-energy, engaging gameplay content that reflects the Dude Perfect brand and resonates with our audience. We’re seeking someone with deep knowledge of the gaming world who can bring fresh ideas, creative leadership, and operational excellence to our growing content team. As we continue to expand into new verticals, you’ll apply your skills beyond gaming and contribute to other exciting content initiatives across the Dude Perfect universe. If you’re passionate about gaming and energized by the idea of building something new, we’d love to meet you. The ideal candidate has extensive experience producing studio-based or streaming gaming content and knows how to guide a small but mighty team to success. They are also comfortable using performance data to guide creative decisions and make smart pivots when needed.

Key Responsibilities 

Lead the planning and execution of original gaming content for the channel, from concept to release, including: 

• Ideation: Collaborate on gameplay concepts in line with the channel direction and equipment
• Pre-Production: Coordinate workflows and production needs with the Producer and Tech Director
• Production: Assist the Tech Director with production execution to ensure creative vision and timelines are met
• Post-Production: Provide footage and feedback to editors in a timely manner
• Packaging & Distribution: Support the Channel Strategist and design team in ideation and timely delivery of thumbnails, A/B testing, and overall release strategy
• Support and occasionally lead production of content in other verticals including DP’s core channel and other new verticals
• Oversee scheduling and production workflows to keep timelines on track and projects running smoothly
• Stay up to date on all gaming trends and identify areas for Dude Perfect to win
• Ensure all content meets creative and quality standards, keeping video on brand and engaging to the audience
• Maintain clear communication across departments and channels to ensure content is delivered without scheduling or creative conflicts
• Collaborate with the Channel Strategist to evaluate performance and make informed, strategic decisions for future planning and creative direction
• Help scope and manage budgets to support production
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications 

• 5+ years of experience in YouTube production, with a focus on digital and physical gaming
• Strong understanding of YouTube content formats, pacing, and Dude Perfect’s audience expectations
• Familiarity with gaming production workflows, including gameplay capture, streaming setups, and audio/video recording
• Strong proficiency in Google Suite; familiarity with tools like ClickUp or Frame.io a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of creative and post-production workflows
• Experience overseeing budgets and personnel 
• This position is located onsite at the Dude Perfect HQ in Frisco, Texas but will require travel.
