Engineering Manager, Integrations

The Engineering Manager role leads the teams responsible for building Duetto Integrations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to build out integrations with partner and hotel data sources.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about building high-performing engineering teams, delivering a quality product, and moving our architecture forward to support rapid onboarding of new customers. 

What you’ll do:

• Own the execution and timely delivery of the product’s roadmap.
• Be obsessed with quality - this is a mission critical product that brings in the customer data used to drive pricing decisions for over 5,000 hotels.
• Provide coaching, mentorship and leadership to the teams and motivate them to perform at their best.
• Act as the scrum master for the teams, championing Agile best practices such as grooming, planning and retrospectives to deliver value iteratively and consistently to our customers.
• Collaborate closely with the product owner and teams on the planning, design and implementation of new features.
• Work with the team to build a technical roadmap, ensuring the long term maintainability and scalability of the product.
• You’ll help design solutions for features and review the code.

Desired Skills & Expertise

• 10+ years experience building enterprise-grade SaaS applications, including 2+ years managing teams of at least five full-stack engineers.
• Strong foundation in building modern scalable web applications with enough depth on both frontend and backend technologies.
• Track record of delivering complex software products on time with high quality using agile methodologies.
• Manage and mentor a thriving, collaborative, distributed engineering team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with US-based product companies and globally distributed teams to provide value iteratively using agile and scrum methodologies.
• You’ve experience in Java server technologies, NoSQL-MongoDB, PostGres and AWS. 
• Curiosity about business problems and using modern infrastructure to solve real-world challenges.
