We are looking for an Insight Sales Associate in the Grocery & Non-Food Insights team, reporting to the Senior Commercial Lead – Health, Beauty, & Wellness.
This is a hands-on role, working with a broad range of clients in the Beauty & Personal Care category working with both global CPGs and exciting startups. Within your portfolio, you will be expected to increase the reach and coverage of dunnhumby solutions through targeting new logos and renewing existing business contracts while also being responsible for any upsells and cross sells. To achieve this, you will need to have a deep understanding of your client’s business, the categories they operate in and their relationship with Tesco.
The successful candidate will:
- Be responsible for the full B2B sales cycle through Lead Generation, Discovery, Qualification, pitching, Negotiation and Close for your own set of clients.
- Deliver at pace, consistently growing conversion rates whilst shortening sales cycle.
- Be encouraged to accurately forecast sales for your area by period, quarter and year, ensuring relevant systems reflect latest pipeline on weekly basis.
- Work with customer success teams to network deep within your client’s business, forming relationships with key stakeholders and budget holders across different teams.
- Have detailed knowledge of our tools and the value they add will be essential to successfully consultatively sell to your clients both new & existing.
The ideal candidate will have a commercial background within the Retail/CPG sector and ideally with experience in customer data and insight.
You will be expected to demonstrate:
- Experience of using data to influence users and senior stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of the UK retail market and the current challenges / opportunities.
- Resilient, with a positive mentality, driven to find a new path when the first is blocked.
- A relationship builder – comfortable adapting style to varied internal and external contacts, influencing based on their needs.
- Highly numerate and displaying a structured approach to financial planning and reporting.
- A great communicator, verbally and digitally, creating simple & actionable solutions.
