Finance Analyst-Revenue & Billing

We’re looking for Revenue and Billing Analyst who expects more from their career. It’s an exciting opportunity for you to manage revenue recognition and billing for dunnhumby assigned regions. Joining our revenue and billing team, you will work closely with business to ensure revenue is recognised timely and accurately and costs are accounted for correctly along with timely invoicing.

Contribute to continuous improvement while collaborating with other Global Process Owners to ensure approach alignment and share best practices alongside super-smart colleagues challenging and rewriting the rules, not just following them

What we expect from you

· Complete understanding of Order to cash cycle and how business works

· Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills to have precise communication with Internal & External Stakeholders.

· Expert level IFRS knowledge is required

· Outstanding MS-Excel skills and working knowledge of Oracle. Knowledge of using lookups & pivot tables for multiple reporting purposes.

· Complete knowledge of how revenue recognition is done for critical contracts as per IFRS 15. Must have worked on standard and Non-standard contracts for revenue recognition.

· Hands on knowledge of billing process along with credit notes

· Understanding of how revenue and billing accounting transactions are done

· Should know how to act as an individual contributor in your job and should be self driven.

· Must have experience in dealing with Global Business Partners and knowledge in managing the queries & provide resolution.

· Understanding of GL reconciliations and hands on will be an added advantage

· Must have done process improvements in previous role

· Should be a team player as this role requires coordinating with multiple teams

· Should have experience in managing the internal/external/statutory audit independently

 

Qualifications for this role-

Qualified or Semi-Qualified Accountant / MBA – Finance or Equivalent Degree with Substantial experience in revenue recognition and project accounting

3-7 years of work experience required
