We’ll bring together our unparalleled data and science with new data sets and capabilities to create scalable, technology-enabled solutions to serve both existing global leaders and emerging insurgent brands.
We’re looking for an energetic and creative senior leader to help to shape and grow this exciting start up. Working alongside the Brand Growth Director, you will be responsible for initiating and sustaining client demand. This will encompass initiating and building relationships CPG marketing leaders and driving a programme of awareness raising and credibility building to create market interest. The business is at an early stage of development, and you will have a significant opportunity to use your expertise in the consumer goods industry to continue to shape our strategy and our evolving set of solutions
What you’ll be working on
- Be the commercial driver of the new business. Work with the Brand Growth Director to agree and deliver a multi-year revenue growth plan. Define a profitable commercial framework for each solution
- Be the relationship engine. Identify and prioritise key purchasers and influencers in consumer goods companies. Build and maintain relationships with these key people. Manage a team of client success leads to ensure satisfaction through day-to-day delivery
- Keep us focused on current and evolving client needs. Understand the needs of our target clients and engage them around our most appropriate solutions. Drive penetration of new solutions, tailor specific offers as required and drive a plan to scale solutions within and across clients. Identify emerging and unmet client needs and feed them back to the CPG solutions team to fuel ongoing innovation
- Create an external voice for our business. Drive a plan to drive awareness and credibility of the new CPG offer through a programme of IP, external events and publications
What we expect from you
- You will have a thorough understanding of the consumer goods industry, gained with a manufacturer or with an agency, ideally with a focus on marketing. You will have a passion for the power of data and insight to drive better decisions – you’ll care about seeing clients act and deliver better results
- You will have the ambition to build a new business from idea stage. You will understand how to make the tricky transition from an idea to a live business.
- We need someone who has a relentless focus on identifying purchasers and influencers and finding ways to reach them, through internal and external networks. You will need the credibility to engage with C Suite leaders, to think on your feet and shape solutions from within our toolkit. You will have the experience and creativity to present as a thought leader.
- You will be a sounding board and thought partner for the BU lead in continuing to shape IP and solutions. You have a restless imagination and enjoy debate around new ideas. We need someone who takes ideas and thinks ‘how do we make this bigger’
