Are you a seasoned CPG expert with a passion for strategic transformation, commercial excellence, and customer-centricity? Ready to make a real impact with one of the world’s leading retailers? At dunnhumby, we’re on the hunt for a CPG & Retail Collaboration Transformation Manager to help drive meaningful value for Tesco UK.
As part of our Transformation team, you’ll bring your deep Consumer Packaged Goods expertise to the table to influence the future of collaborative planning between CPGs and Retailers.
What you’ll do:
- Be ‘the voice of the CPG’ - leveraging your commercial, go to market strategy, and process knowledge to champion and map the critical CPG processes, ways of working, and requirements that will enable a best-in-class collaboration model to achieve the ‘3-win’ for CPGs, Retailers & Customers.
- Draft the CPG’s view of the best-in-class CPG & Retail collaboration model for key joint business planning, range review, and promotion planning processes – turning inefficiencies into opportunities, converting co-planning from manual & offline to agile & data-driven.
- Support strategic Price, Promotion and Ranging workstreams within Tesco’s Transformation programme.
- Identify and scale new commercial opportunities for CPGs and Tesco, based on your proposals.
- Support pre-sales and client development activities alongside our Retail and CPG Client teams.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in a leading UK FMCG Consumer Goods manufacturer (essential).
- Experience in CPG functions including Commercial, National Accounts / Sales, Revenue Growth Management, Market Strategy & Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Operational Excellence, in-house strategy consulting (essential).
- Proven detailed knowledge and (in)direct experience with UK grocery processes (ideally Tesco) on joint business planning, promotion nominations, range reviews and (ideally) annual brand planning (essential).
- Experience within retail buying, merchandising or trade planning (in any industry) desired but not essential.
- Strong understanding of Pricing, Promotions and Ranging in both retail and manufacturer settings.
- An understanding of the needs for both retailers and CPGs in a collaborative relationship and an ability to ‘connect the dots’ for mutual benefit.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset.
