Group Account Manager – CPG Growth Strategy

Location: London | Hybrid 

Are you a senior commercial leader with deep CPG expertise and a passion for unlocking growth through data-led strategy? At dunnhumby, we’re looking for a Group Account Manager to lead high-impact client relationships across Tesco Group entities, driving joint value creation for global brands.

This is a pivotal role within our Client Leadership team, where you’ll act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping future propositions and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and deliver strategic account plans for major CPG clients, aligning insight-led solutions with their growth ambitions.
  • Drive commercial growth, identifying scalable opportunities and expanding scope beyond briefs.
  • Build trusted partnerships with C-suite stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Category, Sales, and Executive teams.
  • Lead innovation, designing and piloting new propositions that deliver measurable impact across Tesco and brand partners.
  • Influence internal roadmaps, ensuring dunnhumby’s products and solutions are client-first and commercially relevant.
  • Champion client needs across dunnhumby, Tesco, and external partners to maximise joint value.
  • Use consultative and challenger sales methodologies to drive revenue and long-term impact.

What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience in senior commercial roles within leading CPGs or brand organisations.
  • Proven success in driving sales and margin growth through strategic account planning and transformation.
  • Strong track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Deep understanding of consumer, retail, and data-led marketing landscapes.
  • Experience in coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and pivoting quickly to market signals.
  • Thought leadership in data, insight, and brand growth strategy.
