Senior Applied Data Scientist

We’re looking for a Senior Applied Data Scientist ready to elevate their impact. In this role, you’ll lead analytical projects end‑to‑end, applying advanced techniques to distil complex challenges into clear, actionable insights for our clients. You’ll combine strong technical expertise with strategic thinking, guiding both the analytical direction of projects and the quality of insight delivery

As part of our senior team, you’ll investigate and implement advanced methodologies, mentor junior colleagues, and collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and value.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and execute analytical projects, applying advanced machine learning and analytical methodologies to solve complex client problems.
  • Investigate & implement the most appropriate analytical techniques for each project, re-use and enhance global solutions and code.
  • Deploy data science algorithms and market products on the designated tech stack, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project requirements.
  • Participate in external client meetings, helping explain methodologies, analytical approaches, and solution designs.
  • Lead, support and guide junior team members, enabling smooth execution of their projects while maintaining quality standards

What we expect from you

  • English language proficiency
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with programming and Data Science in work/business environment
  • Strong experience with SQL and Python programming, object oriented programming and Test driven development. Experience with PySpark is preferred
  • Experience in applying advanced statistical models or machine learning algorithms to solve a variety of complex problems
  • Advanced analytical skills, Insights Analysis, Data Visualization and Story telling. Experience with Power BI/Looker studio is a plus.
  • Ability to manage own projects, analytical work streams for client accounts, coordinate related projects with other team members and coach more juniors team members.
  • Experience working in retail analytics is a nice to have.
