About Durable:
Our mission at Durable is to make owning a business easier than having a job.
Durable builds AI that does the work for you. Our goal is to own the DIFY (Do It For You) small business category.
What is DIFY? It is a new category of technology that is faster and more cost effective than a human, and much easier to use than software. It is an AI first approach to solving customer problems.
You don't need to learn new software. You don't need to read help docs. You don't need to learn how to prompt. You provide business context and feedback, and the work is done for you.
We believe in a world where everyone is a business owner. Whether it's a full-time, part-time, or side hustle - we want to make it frictionless to start and operate a business. Since launching in late 2022, over 5 million websites have been built with our AI powered website builder. We are generating significant revenue, well-funded by Silicon Valley investors, and growing extremely fast.
Our vision is much bigger, and we're looking for incredible people to join our team and make an impact.
What You’ll Do:
In this high-impact role, you’ll join a product engineering pod focused on building fast, polished, AI-native user experiences. You’ll work closely with design and product to craft responsive features and interaction patterns using modern frontend tools and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and maintain design systems, UI components, and documentation using Storybook
- Create delightful, interactive experiences with motion and animation using Rive and Radix primitives
- Integrate data and API logic via TRPC and TanStack Query with an eye for loading states and transitions
- Optimize for Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and multi-device responsiveness
- Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to shape high-quality, user-facing experiences
- Work closely with design to prototype, test, and polish features that feel fast and intuitive
- Ensure consistent UX quality and frontend performance as we scale our platform
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience building production-grade web applications
- Strong fluency with React, NextJS, TypeScript, and modern frontend engineering best practices
- Deep experience with Tailwind CSS and design system implementation
- Experience with animation, micro-interactions, or tools like Rive and Framer Motion
- Familiarity with frontend architecture, component libraries, and state management (e.g. TanStack Query, TRPC)
- Care for performance, browser fundamentals, accessibility, and visual detail
- Bonus: Experience with design engineering, design tokens, visual regression testing, or contributing to UI kits
