Account Executive

Who We Are:

Dusty Robotics is the leading solution to ensure design integrity in the field through automated layout and a streamlined BIM-to-field process. Dusty delivers a combination of hardware, software, and services that fit seamlessly into existing construction work processes by printing digital models directly on the jobsite floor with 1/16" accuracy based directly on Revit or AutoCAD models. Dusty has enabled contractors to print over 100 million square feet of layout across thousands of buildings and is trusted by leading general contractors such as DPR and Skanska as well as trade contractors in framing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

The position:

Dusty is looking for an Account Executive (AE) in the Western US to lead our revenue growth. Our product is a hardware-based SaaS subscription that is in high demand by the construction industry. With strong initial traction from the market, we are looking for an AE to win new accounts for us and grow our revenue base. You will be reporting directly to the VP of Sales.

In this role, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding Dusty’s ambitious sales targets. You will leverage your knowledge of the construction industry to devise tactics for closing deals and working your way up the chain of decision-makers. And you will act as a player-coach to train our sales team how to do the same.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience as an AE in a small high-growth startup
  • Demonstrated expertise in closing 6- and 7-figure deals with customers
  • Prior experience selling a product with a physical component such as hardware, real estate, built environment is desired
  • Experience with the construction industry (personal or professional) is desired

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage construction industry professionals, including contractors, and project managers, to promote and sell Dusty Robotics technology solutions.
  • Use your construction expertise to understand struggles and tailor our product offerings to meet their needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations to showcase the value and benefits of our construction technology solutions.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with potential customers, acting as a trusted advisor and demonstrating a deep understanding of their business challenges and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to drive customers towards their desired business outcomes and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements and trends in construction technology, and effectively communicate how our solutions can address industry challenges.
