Senior Sales Executive
dv01 is lifting the curtain on the largest financial market in the world: structured finance. The $16+ trillion market is the backbone of everyday activities that empower financial freedom, from consolidating credit card debt and refinancing student loans, to buying a home and starting a small business.
dv01’s data analytics platform brings unparalleled transparency into investment performance and risk for lenders and Wall Street investors in structured products. As a data-first company, we wrangle critical loan data and build modern analytical tools that enable strategic decision-making for responsible lending. In a nutshell, we're helping prevent a repeat of the 2008 global financial crisis by offering the data and tools required to make smarter, data-driven decisions resulting in a safer world for all of us.
More than 400 of the largest financial institutions use dv01 for our coverage of more than 750 million loans spanning mortgages, personal loans, auto, buy-now-pay-later programs, credit cards, small business, student, home improvement and solar loans. dv01 continues to expand coverage of new markets, adding loans monthly, and developing new technologies for the structured products universe.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Senior Sales Executive will play a critical role in expanding dv01's & Fitch Solutions’ Structured Finance business, working closely with our Head of Sales to acquire new clients and drive adoption of our industry-leading solutions. This role requires an established network of issuer and originator relationships across the Asset-Backed Finance market, with the ability to translate those relationships into strategic opportunities and meaningful revenue growth.
You will connect dv01's data, analytics, and workflow solutions to clients' business priorities, with a particular focus on expanding adoption of our Loan Data Agent (LDA) capabilities. You are a seasoned sales professional who thrives in complex sales environments, understands the persistence required to navigate long sales cycles, and is comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You don't need a playbook—you create one.
YOU WILL:
- Already understand the market and dive in quickly. Work with your existing network of senior relationships across Structured Finance, particularly with issuers and originators in Consumer Unsecured, Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS), Credit Cards, and Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL), to open doors, engage decision-makers, and generate qualified opportunities.
- Drive new business and revenue growth. Own new business development across a defined portfolio of strategic prospects, with a primary focus on acquiring new LDA clients and expanding adoption of dv01's solutions. Identify opportunities to bring data and technology innovation to an established market and translate them into measurable revenue.
- Own the full sales cycle. Lead opportunities from prospecting and executive engagement through discovery, solution development, negotiation, and close, maintaining momentum throughout complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Sell integrated workflow solutions. Partner closely with Product Specialists and Product teams to understand client challenges and deliver solutions that address business needs across the Structured Finance workflow, positioning dv01 as a strategic partner rather than a point-solution provider.
- Collaborate across the organization. Work closely with Sales, Account Management, Product, and other teams to advance opportunities, incorporate market feedback, and leverage dv01's technology and commercial resources to maximize sales effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Significant experience in Structured Finance, ideally in capital markets business development, issuer-facing sales, or selling data, analytics, or technology solutions to the industry.
- An established network of issuer and originator relationships that can be leveraged to generate and advance strategic LDA opportunities from day one.
- Demonstrated success originating, managing, and closing complex sales, with a track record of delivering meaningful revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of issuer business models, securitization workflows, and the commercial dynamics of the Asset-Backed Finance market.
- Ability to engage senior decision-makers, build trusted relationships, and translate complex business challenges into differentiated solutions.
- Strong commercial instincts and an understanding of the art of selling, including the ability to build credibility, navigate organizational dynamics, and influence buying decisions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a demonstrated desire to help scale a growing business through innovative client solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams while independently driving opportunities forward.
- Superior professional presence, business acumen, and executive communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
In good faith, our salary range for this role is $135,000 - $145,000 but are not tied to it. The final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience, expertise, and other business considerations. Our community is fueled by diverse people who welcome differing points of view and the opportunity to learn from each other. Our team is passionate about building a product people love and a culture where everyone can innovate and thrive.
