Founded 20 years ago and headquartered in Chicago, the DV Group of financial services firms has grown to more than 600 people operating throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Since spinning out of a large brokerage firm in 2016, DV Trading has rapidly scaled as an independent proprietary trading firm utilizing its own capital, trading strategies, and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to worldwide financial markets and hedging opportunities to commodity producers and users. Now, DV group affiliates include two broker dealers, a cryptocurrency market making firm, and a bourgeoning investment adviser.

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced trader to join our systematic trading desk in Singapore, bringing proven strategies and the ability to scale them within our infrastructure. This role is suited for someone who has built and run their own strategies in production, has deep familiarity with APAC market structure, and is ready to operate with greater autonomy and resources. You will work closely with our developers and trading team to deploy, refine, and expand your strategies across our global platform.

Job Responsibilities:

 

• Deploy and manage proprietary trading strategies across APAC & US exchanges
• Monitor and optimize live strategy performance, risk exposures, and execution quality on an ongoing basis
• Lead the design and buildout of research infrastructure and frameworks to support strategy development, working in partnership with our development team
• Identify and pursue new trading opportunities across asset classes and geographies within the APAC region
• Conduct rigorous analysis of market microstructure, execution data, and strategy performance to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with technology and operations teams to ensure robust, reliable, and scalable strategy deployment
• Manage risk at both the strategy and portfolio level with discipline and accountability

 

Requirements:

 

• 3+ years of experience trading proprietary strategies in a professional setting, with a verifiable track record
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following, in order of preference:
  • Delta one arbitrage (ETF market making, basis trading, cross-border/cross-asset arbitrage)
  • Intraday equities or futures strategies
  • Statistical arbitrage or other forms of spread trading
• Deep familiarity with APAC market structure, exchange mechanics, and the regulatory landscape in one or more of the target markets
• Ability to lead the buildout of research infrastructure and frameworks end-to-end, with developer support
• Rigorous approach to risk management and position sizing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on empirical, data-driven decision making
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with developers, operations, and other traders

• Experience trading across multiple APAC markets or asset classes
• Track record of building or significantly improving trading infrastructure or research tooling
• Experience operating in a prop trading or market making environment
