Golin is currently looking for a collaborative, results-driven Senior Vice President to help manage one of Golin’s top clients in the wireless and technology sector and serve as one our key leads in our Tech & B2B Practice. In this role, you will act as one of our primary client senior counselors, an inspirational leader to our account teams and a growth agent to our agency as a whole. As a member of our office leadership team, you will have a voice in setting the course for the New York office.

We are looking for with a proven track record leading large account teams, delivering ongoing strategic counsel to senior communications client leaders on all aspects of communications, and developing and executing impactful communications programs that deliver success with measurable results. . You will be joining a dynamic team that represents some of the biggest Fortune One brands, including some heavyweights defining technology across the consumer, technology and B2B landscape.

This role will lead our New York Technology & B2B Practice - simultaneously overseeing and growing a business built on incredible talent and a client portfolio from technology titans to disruptive startups. You have a track record of building business and teams, inspired by delivering breakthrough work and building the careers of the people you lead.   

You are an experienced leader, collaborative and strategic partner, and a technology subject matter expert who can develop, mentor, and manage high-performing teams. What You'll Do as a Client Lead:

· Acquire deep expertise of the client business and the ins and outs of the wireless and consumer electronics industry.

· Have an earned media mindset with experience working with IT, technology and business influencers and journalists.

· Possess a deep understanding of earned social/content and proven experience and success collaborating effectively across all marketing disciplines and other integrated agency partners that help drive demand generation

· Drive planning and creative efforts with confidence to bring to life new, fresh approaches – large scale to the practical ideas -- that wow our clients

· Serve as an integral member of the global client relationship team, collaborating and partnering on initiatives, addressing the varied and changing needs of your clients, including emerging AI technologies, proactively leading in changing times with solid counsel and program creation that address objectives.

· Anticipate challenge and create strategies to prepare and chart a proper course to address what lies ahead.

· Stay on top of industry best practices, trends, client, and competitor brand activity, ensuring Golin delivers game-changing ideas and solutions.

· Anticipate client needs, requests and serve them before asked; nimbly adapt plans and tactics to changes and opportunities in the world around us.

· Hold and set a high bar for smart and sound ideas, flawless execution, and outstanding, measurable results.

· Bring an entrepreneurial and consultative approach in creating new incremental business opportunities, and crafting and implementing strategic business development plans that align with agency and client business goals.

What You'll Do as a People Leader:

What You Have:

· B.A./B.S. degree in areas such as Business, Marketing, Market Research, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or a related field.

· 13+ years of experience in the public relations or communications-related field, with an emphasis on the technology sector, in a client-facing, progressive leadership role.

· Exceptional business savvy and client service skills, with a proven track record of pitching and winning business, overseeing sizeable client activations in the enterprise technology, hardware, telecom, and/or semi-conductor space, and being positioned as trusted subject matter expert and go-to partner to clients and teams.

· A deep understanding of the technology and telecom industry, its ecosystem of market and business influencers, and emerging technologies, with a focus on B2B brands.

· Experience working across an integrated team, with a collaborative and proactive demeanor, delivering big-picture thinking, with a passion for technology, mentorship, and sharing of innovative and fresh ideas.

· Robust relationship builder and engaging leader, with strong B2B and technical acumen, and ability to influence long standing, key senior clients.

· Deep seated experience formulating effective strategic communications plans, establishing trust, fulfilling organizational objectives and business goals, in a complex and fast-paced organization.

· Proven team leader, with the ability to build, grow, mentor, inspire, and motivate.

Salary range: $150,000 – $260,000

Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
