**Detroit area preferred but open to remote**

**hybrid work environment; must be able to work onsite in the office 3 days/week unless you are a remote employee outside of the Detroit area**

Role Overview

The Senior Digital Project Manager will work closely with team members across all capabilities to deliver various digital work. A Senior Digital Project Manager will manage the daily activities of various small to large programs including content creation, feature/enhancement releases, and product road mapping.

The ideal candidate has strong organization and time management skills, is oriented, and has a passion for details. They aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to complete the project on time and on budget while achieving its goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop relationships with clients and act as subject matter expert on key projects, proactively listening for opportunities and potential problems.
  • Manage 2-4 programs focused on digital learning with varying complexity depending on client needs and scope.
  • Participate in client meetings and manage client expectations around budgets and schedules in partnership with Account Management.
  • Capture client requests and translate them into actionable, prioritized tasks for the internal team in partnership with Account Management.
  • Perform quantitative risk analysis and escalate to clients and stakeholders accordingly based on known business needs.  
  • Participate in the definition of deck outlines with other capabilities. Help support the team to get to the final draft and make client ready.
  • Understand client priorities in order to lead requirements prioritization conversations.
  • Synthesize functional and technical requirements into requests for development teams.
  • Manage vendor relationship(s), controlling forecasted hours and critically thinking about ways to reduce burn without sacrificing quality.
  • Guide the work of others and provide on the job training.
  • Manage project teams, including providing feedback on work and performance.
  • Maintain communication regarding project status, risks, issues, and priorities with project sponsors, team members, and leadership. 
  • Help capture and socialize release notes, bug reports, backlog documentation, etc. to relevant stakeholders.
  • May manage junior-level staff, including, hiring, and onboarding, training and development, resource planning across the team, performance management, and career development. 

What You’ll Need

  • 5 years of project management, account, or related experience is required.
  • Experience using Project and task management software (Confluence, JIRA, Smartsheet, Basecamp, etc.).
  • Demonstrates expertise in producing complex project schedules and can draft schedules for new/never-before-done projects or programs without well-defined requirements.
  • Prioritizes and balances time, actions, resources, and initiatives to ensure the achievement of goals.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to comfortably interact with a diverse group including executives, managers, technical experts, and subject matter experts.
  • Effectively manages expectations with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and facilitate client workshops to generate consensus, ideation, and direction.
  • Ability to understand and synthesize business processes and challenges into actionable solutions.
  • Ability to lead by proactively identifying risks and resulting actions to mitigate and resolve issues.
  • Knowledge pertaining to web technologies (i.e. WCMS, APIs, Server Architectures) is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Management experience is a plus, but not required.

In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 annually (there may be some flexibility), depending on relevant factors including experience, internal equity and market considerations. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.
