Golin is seeking an Associate, Insights and Analytics, to play a key role in contributing to one of the fast-growing, sought-after teams in the agency and contribute to fueling Golin’s clients.

Our ideal candidate will be as unique as the role they fill: Part creative problem solver, part data analyst, full time media and social content connoisseur.

Please note: We are looking for candidates located in the DFW metroplex only

 

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze social and earned content for trends and patterns that inform recommended actions
  • Think strategically and be insightful with the ability to tell a story that converts data into actionable insights
  • Create measurement and performance reports by analyzing data, pulling out crisp insights and recommendations
  • Develop research reports and presentations
  • Monitor and evaluate digital and social media results on a daily/monthly/annual basis in coordination with client and account team goals, as well as benchmarks
  • Be a creative, analytical mind on the team, supporting the development of strategic recommendations across earned and social media campaigns
  • Use web and social media analytics platforms to measure campaign success and help provide data-backed recommendations for optimization
  • Serve as a data journalist by uncovering strategic findings and insights using a range of digital analytics techniques, such as social listening, to help support business objectives, advance storytelling, and drive engagement
  • Work closely with your team + team leaders to compile, synthesize and analyze data sets
  • Understand client background and needs, including general business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers and competitors in the marketplace
  • Understand social channels and identify emerging opportunities for a diverse client set

 

What You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree and a demonstrated passion for insights and analytics, digital, and agency experience
  • 1+ years in digital analysts, marketing analysis, research, in PR preferred
  • Analytical skills with proven understanding of techniques: Analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable insights and recommendations
  • Comfort interpreting a variety of different data sources from qualitative research to primary survey data to secondary data sources and creating one cohesive story
  • Working with and creating databases and dashboards utilizing all relevant data to inform decisions.
  • Experience with tools including TalkWalker, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, SimilarWeb Pro, CreatorIQ, ComScore, MOZ and others
  • Basic understanding of principles of communications, digital marketing, and media
  • Strong verbal and written communication and time-management skills
  • Experience working with data visualization tools and creative ways to display information
  • Keen eye for data trends and the ability to investigate and articulate factors that may account for these trends
  • Enthusiasm, passion and curiosity about digital/social analytics
  • Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Know how to prioritize and be adaptive to change
  • Able to quickly learn new tools and databases
  • Highly motivated and eager to learn

Salary Range: $40,000 - $55,000

Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
