Sr Project Associate – Events Administration

**hybrid role; must work in Detroit office 3 days/week**
**some domestic travel required including weekends**

Jack Morton is seeking a passionate and energetic Senior Project Associate on our Motorsports account with events or hospitality experience. This person will own specific administrative tasks within the team (ticket distribution, status reports or process compliance, for example) that support on-site planning and activation for multiple motorsports series events and other auto enthusiast programs,. Client facing and administrative / project management skills are a must.

Here’s the job:

  • Cultivate strong and productive relationships with clients, agency partners and third-party vendor partners including food & beverage.
  • Use the creative part of your brain to come up with unique approaches to accomplish the goals of the client.
  • Work with a close-knit team, made up of people who enjoy working together and with their clients.
  • Work closely with the Account Managers supporting the day-to-day project needs of an account; including but not limited to sourcing goods and services, assisting with hospitality planning for owner events, developing pre and post event client documents, managing ticket distribution, etc.
  • Maintain constant communication with senior leadership, providing updates on budgets, status reports, action items and schedule, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Strive for flawless delivery of assigned project components.
  • Contribute to a positive team climate that inspires others to excel and deliver.
  • Support Agency objectives relative to this account (and potentially others as assigned).

What we require:

  • 2-4 years’ experience required
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to simultaneously manage multiple projects
  • Strong project management, organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in experiential marketing (planning, onsite execution) strongly preferred
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Required to travel up to 15-25%, primarily on weekends
