Hourly Rate: $80-95/hr

Job Summary 

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of our client's key third-party events and support their owned events. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills, a passion for creating impactful experiences, and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with diverse teams to deliver exceptional results.

 

Responsibilities:

Event Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of 3-4 third-party events, and provide support 
for a high-priority owned event, managing multiple events in close succession.
 Stakeholder Management: Navigate internal organizational dynamics to bring experiences to life, 
including managing approvals and coordinating stakeholder feedback.
●  Project Management: Ensure adherence to deadlines, maintain robust documentation, and provide 
detailed reporting and management.
 Strategic Consultation: Provide strategic event consultation, including messaging, narrative 
development, and measurement strategies.
●  Elevate Concepts: Consistently seek to elevate event concepts, ensuring they meet the brief, 
resonate with the audience, leverage brand elements, and push creative boundaries.
●  Refine Creative Solutions: Work collaboratively with team members to push and refine creative 
ideas and design solutions.
●  Agency Management: Effectively manage multiple agencies to deliver high-quality outcomes.
●  Onsite Preparation: Prepare client team members for onsite events by creating comprehensive 
"Know Before You Go" documents.
●  Communication: Write clear, articulate, and professional briefs and documents for colleagues and 
executives.
●  Ideation and Concepts: Develop innovative event concepts that align with the brief, resonate 
with the audience, leverage brand elements, and push creative boundaries.
 Creative Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to refine creative ideas and 
design solutions.

 

Mandatory Requirements

●  Must be located near Mountain View / Bay Area
●  Full-time availability (35-40 hours per week).
●  Proficiency in Google Suite.
●  Minimum 10 years of deep event planning experience.
●  Technology industry experience.

●  Proven experience leading third-party events (especially trade shows), product launches, content
and narrative production, show management and high-touch VIP experiences.

●  Experience managing multiple agencies concurrently.

● Proficiency in German is a plus
