Account Manager, Business Leadership - Brand Experiences

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Momentum Worldwide is looking for a driven Account Manager to be a key member of the Business Leadership team in support of a global retail client. In this role you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of major experiential programs and omnichannel initiatives enabling meaningful connections for the client’s vast customer base. You will be the day-to-day point person for the client and internal teams and will be responsible for pushing forward the vision and strategy for the projects you are leading. The ideal candidate excels at creating and actively maintaining relationships, is a strong communicator, consistently strives to identify and solve client business challenges, and can provide daily guidance to junior team members. This individual also has experience in one or mote of the following industries: CPG, Retail and Sports.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Provide day-to-day management of the client’s business and internal team, managing relationships and expectations in accordance with agency philosophy
  • Actively forge and maintain relationships to deliver exceptional client service to our client
  • Manage the development and execution of major concurrent experiential programs
  • Establish effective relationships across agency multi-disciplinary teams at the mid-to-senior level, working cross-functionally to solicit and convey all necessary information in a timely manner (i.e., creative briefs, job starts), ensure brand strategy and objectives are being met, and troubleshoot issue as they arise
  • Attend and contribute to internal brainstorm and creative review sessions, and bring a perspective of strategy to both the development and execution of creative concepts
  • Responsibility for the management of project financials, including job reconciliation, invoicing, estimates, and program budgets, in accordance with agency policy and procedures
  • Creates compelling presentations that flow as a story, and delivers with confidence
  • Attend and contribute to client presentations, providing clear set-up and understanding of creative ideas and design execution as key active member of business leadership team
  • Possess full knowledge of agency’s offerings, mission, and vision
  • Travel to support experiences as primary client contact on the ground as needed

  • All other duties as assigned

 HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant marketing experience, ideally with a focus on experiential
  • in the CPG industry and/or retail. Having sports marketing experience is a plus
  • Agency experience, in particular in the live events industry, with solid understanding of agency processes, department functions and workflow
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
  • Demonstrated ability to develop & manage strong client relationships and lead external partners within an IAT setting
  • Proven success in managing internal partners through process, particularly within a creative environment
  • Highly organized and calm under pressure, with ability to be flexible, multi-task and react in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, resourceful, proactive, and solutions-oriented
  • Strong writing and communication skills with ability to communicate points-of-view succinctly, thoroughly, and confidently both in writing and verbally
  • Self-starter and resourceful, with a proven ability to “get-the-job-done”, whatever it takes
  • Strong budget creation and management skills, with the ability to deliver within/under assigned budget, and hold teams accountable to tracking and reporting
  • Effective project management and prioritization skillset, particularly on large projects with many moving parts
  • Polished, professional demeanor, projects confidence and enthusiasm for the business
  • Travel as required by Client/Agency team
