Marketing Technology Support - Temp

Support the execution and technical operations of event-based marketing technology programs, including data capture systems, mobile devices, connectivity troubleshooting, and remote support for live activations.

What you’ll do

  • Support lead generation, data capture systems, and event technology for GM experiential marketing programs
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support during live event activations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to devices, connectivity, and event technology platforms
  • Assist with setup and configuration of event technology equipment (tablets, scanners, RFID readers, etc.)
  • Diagnose connectivity issues including WiFi and cellular networks
  • Manage basic system QA, reporting, and data validation tasks
  • Support event setup, execution, and post-event technical processes
  • Document support issues and escalate complex problems when necessary
  • Work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth event execution
  • Assist with basic HTML/CSS edits when required (nice to have, not required)
  • Technical Support Responsibilities
    • Serve as the first point of contact for technical support requests via phone, email, chat, or in person
    • Troubleshoot basic technical issues and resolve or escalate when needed
    • Document issues, resolutions, and escalation steps
    • Follow established procedures and support workflows

  • Calm and resourceful under pressure during live events
  • Strong communicator able to explain technical issues to non-technical users
  • Proactive and collaborative with internal teams and vendors
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

 

What you’ll bring to Jack

  • 1–3 years supporting users, devices, or event technology systems
  • Interest in technology and problem solving
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
  • Willingness to occasionally support evenings or weekends when events require
  • Basic HTML/CSS experience is a plus but not required

[This is currently a Temporary Role through mid to late July, with potential to convert to Permanent in the future]
