Operations Research Analyst, Journeyman
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Air Force Operations Research Analyst, Journeyman to join our team.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of resources, including acquisition, distribution, allocation, delivery, and final disposal.
- Data Management & Reporting: Maintain and update databases such as the Suspended Assets Analysis & Reporting Tool (SART) and Loan Control Analysis Tool (LCAT), ensuring the integrity of data and generating monthly reports for stakeholders.
- Program Development: Support the Contractor Supported Weapon System Data Exchange (CSWS DE) program and other logistics systems through architecture design, data management, and implementation of system changes.
- Process Improvement: Conduct research and analysis to identify anomalies, errors, or oversights in various programs, including GFP and FIAR, and develop policy refinements and solutions.
- Audit Support: Assist with Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) reporting and ensure compliance with Air Force and DoD regulations.
- System Integration: Work with diverse stakeholders to enhance and integrate logistics systems across the DoD supply chain, including D035 Stock Control System and related programs.
- Budget and Forecasting Analysis: Perform requirements and financial management tasks to support CSAG-S budget and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) forecasting, ensuring accurate resource planning.
- Training and Documentation: Develop training materials, technical documentation, and online tutorials to support system development and implementation.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Experience with systems like D035A/K/L, Commercial Asset Visibility – Air Force (CAVAF), and Keystone Decision Support System.
- Background in working with CSAG-S resources, POM forecasting, and related financial systems.
- Familiarity with Depot-Level Reparable (DLR) processes and procedures.
- Programming experience in logistics-related systems or tools is a plus.
- US Citizenship required
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with systems like D035A/K/L, Commercial Asset Visibility – Air Force (CAVAF), and Keystone Decision Support System.
- Background in working with CSAG-S resources, POM forecasting, and related financial systems.
- Familiarity with Depot-Level Reparable (DLR) processes and procedures.
- Programming experience in logistics-related systems or tools is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- 3 to 10 years of experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree is desirable.
Travel Requirement:
- Yes some travel is required.
Clearance Requirement:
- Secret Clearance strongly preferred
