Role Summary:
Dyne is seeking a Senior Research Associate, CMC Process Sciences, to be responsible for internal process development of oligonucleotide conjugates and provide technical support for validation activities. The Senior Research Associate, CMC Process Sciences, will provide hands-on contributions to process establishment, process development, process characterization, and validation, and collaborate with other functions within the company including, but not limited to, analytical method development, quality control, and platform research, and directly participate in pre-clinical development and activities directly related to process validation of company’s clinical assets.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Drug substance process development, including bioconjugation chemistry, purification, and analytical development
- Lead internal CMC Process Development activities via hands-on contribution in the lab
- Partner with Research to support bioconjugation development activities and enhance the tech transfer process to external manufacturing partners
- Represent CMC and Process Sciences as a technical leader in internal cross-functional teams
- Establish clear expectations and priorities, set objectives, and effectively apply resources to deliver on program goals
- Contribute creative ideas and new innovations that enable better products and processes.
This role is based in Waltham, MA, without the possibility of being a hybrid role.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry, or chemistry, or a closely related field
- 1 year in Research & Development in a biopharmaceutical company. Experience must include:
- (1 year) working with bioconjugates including demonstrating a deep understanding of conjugation chemistries, preparative chromatography, and TFF
- (1 year) using analytical techniques for characterization of conjugates including HPLC/UPLC, SEC, SDS-PAGE, ion exchange chromatography, UV/vis, and LC-MS

MA Pay Range
$120,712.22—$120,712.22 USD
The pay range reflects the base pay range Dyne reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. Individual compensation depends on factors such as education, experience, job-related knowledge, and demonstrated skills.
