Underwriting Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Underwriting Coordinator to join our team in Woodstock, GA. This position plays a key role in supporting our underwriting operations by accurately assessing credit risk, ensuring adherence to internal processes, and working closely with Sales and Operations to facilitate new business opportunities. Key responsibilities
- Reviews application packages received from prospect or salesperson, requesting additional information as necessary. Qualify prospects for acceptability for funding.
- Co-ordinating with Operations Liaison, follows up with prospective clients to obtain required application and supporting documentation.
- Sets up prospect files as required and maintains and updates with required information.
- Develops effective working relations with sales team to ensure that leads and opportunities are followed up on accordingly.
- Maintains and updates accurate CRM records.
- Requests and reviews Suits, Liens and Judgment and Personal Searches to ensure EBC position not compromised. Files required UCC’s accurately and in a timely manner.
- Performs general A/R review to ensure debtor information complete and aging profile supports limits allowed.
- Provides a high level of service whilst maintaining EBC’s security interest.
- Makes credit management decisions within the limits set by EBC Management Controls based on Key Process Controls and EBC Risk Policy. Sets discretionary credit limits up to $25,000 by assessing debtor eligibility for New Client Approvals.
- Awareness of any current economic or industry specific issues that may pose a risk to EBC.
- Seeks to proactively understand prospective clients in order to spot early warning signs.
- Communicates any concerns noted or adverse performance trends with recommendations on how to manage these issues.
- Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.

Time Management
- Work a 40-hour five-day week. Office hours Monday – Friday 8.30 to 5.00PM.
- Overnight travel if ever necessary
Salary Range: $62,000 - $72,000
