POSITION SUMMARY

We're seeking a Total Rewards Analyst who is passionate about building and delivering inclusive, competitive, and transparent benefits programs and Total Rewards support. You’ll be instrumental in helping to shape our total rewards philosophy, provide high-touch support across Total Rewards programs, and ensure an outstanding employee experience through data-driven insights and operational excellence.

This contract role combines elements of Compensation and Benefits Administration and is ideal for someone with experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments who thrives in both analytical and people-centered work. This role will ideally work on a hybrid basis out of our Mexico City office. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Benefits Administration (70-80%)

  • Support the administration of EarnIn’s employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and leave of absence programs.
  • Partner with brokers and benefits vendors to ensure timely enrollment, compliance, and employee support.
  • Assist with benefits communications and employee education initiatives to promote understanding and utilization.
  • Perform benefits audits and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, State requirements, International requirements).
  • Program Administration: Manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
  • Enrollment & Communication: Support annual open enrollment, ensuring accurate employee enrollment and clear communication of benefit options.
  • Compliance: In partnership with the Total Rewards Director, ensure benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, ACA).
  • Employee Support: Provide guidance and support to employees on benefit-related inquiries, claims, and policy details.
  • Benchmarking & Trends: Support Total Rewards Director in monitoring industry trends and recommending enhancements to benefits offerings to maintain competitiveness.
  • Execute internal surveys to gauge effectiveness and performance of Benefits offerings.
  • Data Analysis: Track and analyze benefits utilization and costs, providing insights for budgeting and program effectiveness across all locations (US, Canada, Mexico, Thailand, India).
  • Perform Benefits billing reconciliation and audit.
  • Leave of Absence tracking, billing, partnering with payroll on statutory entitlements/reconciliations, and employee support.

Compensation Administrative and Tactical Execution (10-20%)

  • Support the analysis, design, for compensation programs and processes including annual salary review, merit cycles, promotions, and market benchmarking.
  • In support of the Total Rewards Director, partner with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and functional leaders to ensure equitable and competitive offers, promotions, and internal transfers.
  • Conduct global compensation market research, including participation in salary and total rewards surveys and analysis of compensation trends.
  • Assist in maintaining job architecture, leveling guidelines, and salary ranges.
  • Support Total Rewards Director in M&A activities as needed.

Analytics, Payroll, Equity Support & Reporting (5-10%)

  • Support Stock Administrator with audit, reconciliation, and report production.
  • Ensure Benefit billing reconciliation is complete and reporting to Payroll for month-end close.
  • Support the build and maintenance of compensation, benefits, and equity dashboards and reporting tools to support business and compliance needs.
  • Generate actionable insights from HR data to guide strategic decision-making and improve employee experience.
  • Participate in audits and maintain data integrity across HRIS, payroll and equity systems.

The percentage mix of duties will change depending on priorities at different times of the year.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 4+ years of experience in a Total Rewards, Compensation, and Benefits role, preferably in a high-growth tech environment.
  • Strong knowledge of US Benefits and Employee Benefits focused Customer Service.
  • Knowledge of US Leave of Absence policies, procedures, and day-to-day support.
  • Solid working knowledge of benefits compliance and compensation principles (e.g., FLSA, IRS regulations, SOX).
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) Experience with ADP, BSwift, Fidelity, Carta, and Shareworks or Equity Edge Online a plus!
  • Exceptional Excel and data modeling skills; experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio).
  • Highly analytical mindset paired with strong attention to detail and the ability to execute flawlessly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of demystifying complex topics for a broad employee audience.
  • Strong project management skills and a desire to create scalable, sustainable processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field; CEBS certification a plus.
