As a Legal and Compliance Senior Analyst in Brazil, you will be responsible for the support and development of the different matters around the Brazilian compliance needs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Brazilian compliance with relevant laws, ordinances, regulations, and standards applicable to the company's core business;
  • Support the development and implementation of an effective Brazilian legal compliance program;
  • Support the developing and reviewing of the company manuals and policies regarding Brazilian regulations;
  • Data protection and Consumer Law knowledge;
  • AML screening knowledge;
  • KYC/CDD process knowledge;
  • Comparative law knowledge, understanding of Latin American legal aspects, also European Union regulations;
  • Support the legal and compliance team with the license application process;
  • Working closely with the company team based in Australia and Colombia that is managing the application process;
  • Provide support on the monitoring of the license obligations and  mandatory reports to the authorities;
  • Provide day-to-day legal advice on legal matters related to the operation of the company;
  • Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance;
  • Contractual drafting, reviewing, and negotiating including third-party agreements, non-disclosure agreements, software licenses, and data processing agreements;
  • Work closely with the business verticals to ensure full support in launching new products/features/promotions in a compliant manner;
  • Support the compliance team concerning products, strategies, and operational processes and procedures, working with partners and management.
  • Support the compliance team with the different processes to enhance the portfolio of games

 

Requirements

  • Must be proficient in English and have excellent comms skills, both written and verbal;
  • Knowledge about Consumer Law and Data Protection Law;
  • Knowledge about AML screening;
  • Minimum 4 years experience in drafting contracts;
  • Experience working with regulators, external auditors, and inspectors;
  • Experience in interpreting and applying legislation or regulation within a company context; 
  • Motivated, hardworking, able to manage self and other tasks to meet required deadlines;
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Air table & Intercom;
  • Sports & gambling knowledge would be an advantage;
  • International studying and working would be an advantage.
  • Having experience with company compliance programs would be an advantage.
  • Having experience in the Gambling industry would be an advantage
