Your role with us:
As our Law Clerk, you’ll be an integral part of the Legal and Compliance team, helping to shape and safeguard the organisation’s future. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with attorneys, executives and cross-functional teams, providing vital support on regulatory compliance, legal operations and key administrative functions. Your contribution will be central to ensuring we meet our legal and regulatory obligations, reduce risks and uphold a strong culture of ethics and integrity across the organisation.

Please Note: We believe in the value of in-person collaboration! This is a full-time, on-site role at our Melbourne CBD office, where you’ll work closely with our dynamic team to drive innovation and growth.

What you will do:

• Researching legal issues across various jurisdictions.
• Assisting in maintaining legal documentation, databases, and filing systems.
• Ensuring the corporate information of the group companies is up to date.
• Performing due diligence-related tasks.
• Monitoring group email inboxes and processing requests received to relevant inboxes.
• Providing day-to-day legal support to the Legal & Compliance Team including invoicing requirements.
• Providing general legal support to the legal team, including document preparation, case management and administrative tasks.

What you will bring:

• Previous experience working within a similar role.
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools, such as MS Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise deadlines.
• Completed or currently completing Bachelor of Law or similar alternative certificate in legal support.

Bonus points if you also have:

• Cryptocurrency and Gambling knowledge
• Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Jira
