Your role with us:
As a Marketing Performance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in expanding our brand's reach and revenue, by managing a portfolio of performance-driven affiliate partners. Your focus will be on affiliates who excel at driving high-quality traffic through diverse digital channels, including SEO, PPC, media buying and mobile apps. 

This role requires a strong analytical mindset and data literacy, and an ability to adapt to a constantly evolving digital landscape.

Please Note: We believe in the value of in-person collaboration! This is a full-time, on-site role at our Melbourne CBD office, where you’ll work closely with our dynamic team to drive innovation and growth.

What you will do:

• Identify, research and onboard new affiliates to expand our network across various traffic sources. 
• Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to benchmark our program's performance, commission structures and partner portfolio against key competitors.
• Stay up-to-date on trends in SEO, paid media  and app marketing, as well as shifts in search engine and AI algorithms.
• Foster and manage relationships with a portfolio of affiliates, serving as the main point of contact for day-to-day engagement, support and relationship management.
• Negotiate improved deal and commission structures with affiliates to maximise profitability and traffic volume.
• Analyse performance data to optimize existing affiliate deals, identify opportunities for growth and ensure traffic quality aligns with business goals.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on affiliate program performance.
• Ensure program compliance and mitigate risk to protect brand integrity by vetting partners and monitoring their activities.
• Ensure the smooth, day-to-day running of the affiliate program by managing administrative tasks and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and streamline processes.

What you will bring:

• At least 1 year of proven experience in performance-based affiliate marketing or a similar data-driven digital marketing role.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail, with demonstrated proficiency in using spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel) for data analysis, forecasting and reporting.
• Experience with affiliate or SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush or similar platforms to conduct competitive analysis and identify new opportunities.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills to secure and optimise mutually beneficial agreements with performance-driven partners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear, professional interaction with both internal teams and external affiliates.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues, troubleshoot quickly and propose data-backed solutions to optimize campaign performance.

Bonus points if you also have:

• Knowledge of performance marketing channels, including an understanding of how search engine algorithms and AI impact traffic acquisition.
• Familiarity with the sports betting, online gambling or crypto industries.
• A strong ability to learn and adapt, staying up-to-date with new tools, automation and shifts in the digital landscape.
• Sports & Gambling knowledge advantageous
• Cryptocurrency knowledge would be advantageous
• Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Jira
