Your role with us
Leading the evolution of the design system, this role defines how components, patterns and tokens are created, applied and scaled across multiple brands and products. You’ll strengthen governance, support contribution models and improve workflows through automation opportunities. Working closely with engineering ensures production-ready solutions, while adoption is driven through documentation, guidance and hands-on support for design teams. Through system audits and stakeholder influence, you’ll lift maturity and shape how teams work across the organisation.

Please Note: We believe in the value of in-person collaboration! This is a full-time, on-site role at our Melbourne CBD office, where you’ll work closely with our dynamic team to drive innovation and growth.

What you will do:

• Lead the evolution of a multi-brand, multi-product design system, defining scalable components, patterns and tokens.
• Set system standards and architecture to ensure consistent, accessible experiences across brands, platforms and devices.
• Improve system efficiency by identifying automation opportunities and reducing manual workflows.
• Establish governance frameworks, including contribution models and lifecycle standards.
• Partner closely with engineering to deliver robust, production-ready solutions and influence implementation.
• Drive adoption through documentation, guidelines and collaboration with UX Content Designers.
• Support product teams through guidance, design reviews and hands-on system enablement.
• Champion system thinking, run audits and drive improvements that lift maturity across design, product and engineering.
• Operate with high autonomy, leading initiatives that improve system quality, consistency and team efficiency.
• Contribute as a senior individual contributor, supporting team growth and fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture.

What you will bring:

• 10+ years of product design experience, with at least 3+ years of proven experience contributing to and evolving design systems at scale, ideally within multi-brand environments.
• Design for complexity, supporting multiple products and brands, creating systems that enable consistent, high-quality experiences while accelerating delivery across the organisation.
• Experience designing for complex, multi-brand or multi-product ecosystems, balancing consistency with flexibility.
• Comfortable making high-impact decisions around trade-offs between speed, quality and consistency.
• Deep collaboration experience with engineering, influencing implementation and system architecture.

Bonus points if you also have:

• Experience working with Figma and documentation tools such as Zeroheight, Supernova or similar
• Sports, Gambling & Cryptocurrency knowledge
• Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Jira
