What you’ll build with us:

As our Finance Transformation Specialist, you'll own and lead the design and execution of Easygo's Finance Transformation Program end-to-end. This is a technically demanding role, you'll be architecting data infrastructure, driving automation across Finance, HR, Legal and IT via Jira Service Management, and embedding AI capabilities into core financial processes. You'll be the bridge between our finance and technology teams, turning ambiguity into structure and raw data into reliable, scalable insight.

This is an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity with an expectation to transit to a permanent role at our Melbourne office. The Impact you'll make:

  • Design and oversee the finance operation data architecture, including data schemes covering procurement, payments, staff, and vendor/client info, ensuring consistency, traceability, and alignment across all finance systems
  • Engineer and maintain API connections between Jira Service Management (JSM) and our core platforms creating a unified, single source of truth across the business
  • Lead the automation of the finance operation, including ingestion pipelines, data standardisation, reconciliation, and order/budget tracking
  • Design and implement end-to-end workflows on JSM across Finance, HR, Legal, and IT, ensuring ERP and operational systems remain a single source of truth
  • Lead the rollout of automated reporting solutions — standardised reporting or dashboards as well as the  ad hoc report for commercial decision needs.
  • Explore, evaluate, and implement AI tools to enhance finance processes, embedding intelligent capabilities such as anomaly detection, classification, and predictive insights with strong governance controls
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and team enablement, training finance staff on data, automation, and AI tools while identifying continuous improvement opportunities across the business

Your track record:

  • 3-5+ years of JSM implementation, system/API integration, and enterprise experience 
  • Proven track record delivering cross-functional transformation programs
  • Good understanding of finance processes, including transaction flows, reconciliation, and reporting within multi-entity and multi-system environments
  • Proficiency in data architecture, data modelling, and data pipeline concepts within cloud-based data environments
  • Experience implementing automation solutions, including OCR, workflow tools (JSM is a big plus), and finance process automation frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance principles, particularly for financial and sensitive data environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge finance, technology, and data teams effectively

Bonus points if you have:

  • Proven successful experience in the JSM implementation in an enterprise environment
  • IT Project Management knowledge and experience
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in data, including intelligent automation, document processing, and data-driven decision support
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Slack, and agile ways of working
