The Role
To help us continue helping people-centered organizations create safe and inclusive workplaces, we are seeking a Talent & People Generalist to support recruitment efforts, improve employee experience, and optimize HR operations. This position suits someone with a strong interest in recruitment and HR, ready to develop their career in a fast-paced setting.
What You’ll Do:
- Master recruitment processes by developing a deep understanding of EasyLlama’s needs, building a robust candidate pipeline, streamlining interview coordination, and refining job descriptions.
- Enhance HR policy by familiarizing yourself with current policies, collaborating on new policy development, and ensuring legal compliance.
- Optimize onboarding and offboarding processes through reviewing, enhancing, and gathering feedback to continually improve these important aspects of the employee journey.
- Elevate company culture by planning and executing engaging team-building activities and company celebrations, while measuring their impact on employee satisfaction and team cohesion.
- Establish yourself as a reliable HR resource by building strong relationships across departments, understanding benefits and policies thoroughly, and creating an efficient system for addressing employee inquiries.
- Implement robust HR data management by gaining proficiency in HR systems, conducting record audits, and developing best practices for data management and privacy protection.
- Contribute to HR strategy by actively participating in team meetings, staying informed about industry trends, and developing metrics to measure the success of HR initiatives and your own performance.
Who You Are:
- You have 2+ years of experience in recruitment or People, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- You excel at multitasking, prioritizing effectively, and adapting quickly in an ambiguous startup setting.
- You possess exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- You have strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of handling confidential information discreetly.
- You're proficient in Google Workspace and experienced with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), including reporting and daily management.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
How We'll Take Care of You:
- Salary range: $70,000 to $90,000 (annual salary + bonus)
