Reports to: Head of Finance Accounting
Location: Bangalore (Onsite) 5 days a week.
Work Allocation: Monday-Friday
Key Relationships: Finance Team
Job Purpose
We’re looking for a hands-on Finance Manager who brings ownership, curiosity, and drive to the table. You’ll be responsible for managing end-to-end financial accounting operations across our global entities including month-end close, audits, payroll, AP/AR, and consolidation support—in a fast-paced, international environment with multiple currencies.
This role is ideal for someone who leads by doing, thrives on solving complex challenges, and cares about accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement. You'll be part of a high-performing team that values integrity, accountability, and technical excellence. We support one another with care and commitment, and we pride ourselves on being the go-to experts in the business. If you’re motivated by making a real impact and enjoy getting things done, this role is for you.
What you will do
- Own and manage the month-end and year-end close process across multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with IFRS/local GAAP, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Manage India payroll accounting, including payroll journals, GL reconciliations, and statutory filings (TDS, PF, PT, etc.), coordinating with HR and external vendors.
- Support group consolidations of multinational entities with mixed currencies and ensure accurate intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
- Coordinate and lead external audits, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring all requirements are met on schedule.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring strong controls, accurate categorisation of OPEX, and efficient processes.
- Support with direct and indirect tax filings, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Onboard, manage, and mentor junior team members, fostering growth and developing their technical and professional capabilities.
- Identify and drive improvements in accounting processes, and work closely with the Head of FinOps to implement and deliver solutions through to completion.
- Be a trusted advisor to internal teams on accounting matters and collaborate cross-functionally to support business decisions with financial insight.
What you will bring
- 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least five years in a senior accountant role.
- Solid experience with multi-entity, multinational environments, including consolidation and currency conversions.
- Strong knowledge of month-end close, audits, financial statements, payroll, and AP processes.
- A strong hands on mindset, you are ready to get into the details, not just oversee others doing the work.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g. 365 MS Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP or other ERP) and a comfort working with Excel, data and reconciliations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and stay focused under pressure.
- High attention to detail and great organization skills, strong sense of ownership, accountability, and ethical standards.
- Curiosity and drive to improve processes, automate where possible, and support business growth.
- Exceptional communication skills: clear, concise, and capable of engaging with stakeholders across levels and departments.
- A team player who leads by example and supports team members' development.
What you’ll get:
- Competitive Equity Package: Earn more than just a competitive salary. Receive equity shares to gain wealth as the company grows.
- Generous Vacation Policy: We think time off is essential… and we encourage it!
- Duvet Day: Perfect for those cold winter days, when you don’t want to escape the warmth of your bed!
- Mental Health Day: You deserve a day off! A chance to recharge and enjoy ‘Me Time’
- 4 weeks of ‘Work from Anywhere’: Whether you’re working from the beautiful beaches in the Bahamas or by the fireplace on your ski trip in Switzerland - just make sure to send us a picture!
- Professional Development: We’re here to help you hit your career goals to help get you where you want to be.
