About the Role:
Designers at Grön drive concept exploration and aesthetic refinement across the brand. You will partner with Brand & Marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to take projects from brief to final delivery, presenting smart options with clear rationale and ensuring everything ships on time and on brand.

You will tackle project briefs and directives from leadership and creative leads, using Grön’s toolkit to generate multiple solutions, guide the team toward the strongest direction, and carry the chosen approach through polished execution. 

This is a hybrid role that requires 3-4 days a week in our Portland OR office.

In this role you will:

  • Collaboration: Partner with the Senior Print Manager and Brand & Marketing team to develop and maintain cross-channel assets spanning digital, print, and packaging.

  • Creative Execution: Produce quick, on-brand first drafts and manage projects through to final delivery.

  • Regulatory & Consistency Updates: Implement regulatory updates and artwork revisions to ensure packaging consistency across global markets.

  • Product Development Support: Create iterations for new and unreleased products, including packaging render updates and refinements.

  • Template Management: Build and maintain production templates to streamline future workflows.

  • Quality Control: Conduct QC reviews, versioning, and file preparation for print and digital delivery.

  • Production Handoff: Perform specification checks and ensure accurate, clean handoffs to vendors, web, and paid media partners.

  • Visual Enhancement: Support photo retouching and light motion tasks to maintain visual quality and consistency.

  • Brand Cohesion: Maintain a cohesive, accurate, and production-ready brand ecosystem across all channels.

You’ll be a great fit if you have the following: 

  • You have at least two years of experience with Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • You have at least a year of packaging design experience and a portfolio that shows off your work!
  • You may have experience with Figma (preferred but not required)
  • You have great conflict management and negotiating skills, and can navigate the team dynamic
  • You think critically and have great problem-solving skills
  • You demonstrate integrity and respect in all interactions, fostering a positive and supportive work environment
  • You strive for the highest standards in every aspect of your role
  • You can adapt to and drive change with enthusiasm 

Interview Process:  

At Grön, we go through the same interview steps for all Designer candidates to ensure equity in our hiring process. Our process is designed to learn as much about each candidate as possible, as well as give candidates access to our team and hear what it's like to work with us 

  1. Call with Recruiter
  2. In-person interview with select brand team members
  3. Final round with leadership

This position has a starting salary of $55,000/year.
