About the Position:
We are looking for a Project Owner with experience in fraud prevention and chargeback management to lead strategic and operational projects focused on transaction security and mitigation of financial risks.
You will be responsible for connecting product, technology, operations, risk, and customer service teams, ensuring the delivery of effective solutions, stakeholder alignment, and the continuous evolution of strategies for fraud protection and financial dispute resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end projects related to fraud prevention, risk analysis, and chargeback/dispute processes;
- Ensure alignment between technical, operational, and business teams to execute projects with a focus on quality and deadlines;
- Act as a bridge between areas such as risk, engineering, customer service, and compliance, translating business needs into structured action plans;
- Map risks and opportunities, proposing continuous improvements in workflows, systems, and processes;
- Manage chargeback and dispute process benchmarks across different countries where we operate;
- Stay up to date on trends, tools, and regulations in the financial, banking, and digital payments sectors.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with projects focused on fraud prevention or chargeback processes;
- Knowledge of payment methods (cards, Pix, digital wallets, acquirers, sub-acquirers, card networks);
- Project management skills (timelines, scope, risks, and deliverables);
- Strong communication skills across various departments;
- Familiarity with anti-fraud solutions;
- Language: Advanced English.
