EBANX is the leading payment platform connecting global companies with customers from the fastest-growing digital markets in the world.
Since the beginning of our journey, we have had one mission: to provide global access for everyone. We believe that transforming challenges into opportunities and making the impossible part of the journey is crucial! That's precisely why we created a payment technology that builds bridges between people and businesses every day in 29 rising markets across the globe.
We call ourselves ebankers, we are global thinkers, we value diversity, we foster creativity and we work hard to connect businesses and people worldwide through payments. Let's make history together?
We are looking for a Global Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our People Operations team at EBANX, a Brazilian scale-up that is revolutionizing global payments. You will have the opportunity to co-build and implement our international compensation and benefits strategy, focusing on key regions like North America, EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa), and APAC (Asia-Pacific).
If you are a professional who is passionate about transforming the employee experience through innovative rewards strategies, has an analytical and strategic mind, and loves the challenge of working in a dynamic global environment, this is your chance to leave a legacy.
You will also be responsible for:
- Global Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market studies (salary surveys, benefits trends) for the North America, EMEA, and APAC regions, ensuring our compensation and benefits practices are competitive and aligned with each location's specific characteristics.
- Design and Implementation of International Strategies: Actively collaborate in the design, development, and implementation of global and regional compensation plans (base salary, variable pay, incentive plans) and benefits packages (health, wellness, retirement, etc.).
- Cost and Budget Management: Contribute to the strategic management of the global personnel budget, analyzing the cost-benefit of programs and proposing efficient capital allocations that maximize the ROI in people, without losing competitiveness and employee value.
- Internal Consulting: Act as a consultative partner for leaders and HR Business Partners in the regions, offering insights on compensation and benefits policies and supporting decisions that impact the global workforce.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure that all policies and programs comply with local and global regulations and follow best governance practices.
- Communication and Engagement: Support the clear and effective communication of compensation and benefits programs to all levels of the organization, promoting understanding and perceived value among employees.
Main requirements for this position:
- Proven experience in Compensation and Benefits, with a focus on international markets (North America, EMEA, and/or APAC is a plus).
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of salary survey methodologies, compensation plan design (fixed and variable), and benefits management.
- Experience with market research tools and HR systems (HRIS).
- Fluent English is mandatory. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Psychology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google Suite is essential.
What else would we like to see?
- Business Acumen & Strategy: The ability to think beyond transactional HR, understanding the financial and strategic impact of compensation and benefits decisions on EBANX's global business. You are someone who "sits in the business seat," just as we like it here!
- Global Mindset & Cultural Adaptability: The ability to navigate and appreciate cultural and market complexities in different regions of the world, building solutions that are globally consistent yet locally relevant.
- Collaboration & Influence: Strong ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, influence stakeholders at different hierarchical levels, and build solid relationships, even from a distance.
- Proactivity & Problem-Solving: A "hands-on" attitude, with the initiative to identify challenges, propose creative solutions, and implement them effectively. You don't wait for things to happen; you make them happen!
- Resilience & Flexibility: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment, typical of a global scale-up.
