Fraud Prevention Manager

In Operations, we ensure everything runs with excellence, security, and according to the right processes. We focus on efficiency and quality, making sure every step of our solution happens smoothly, accurately, and reliably.


Your day-to-day impact:

  • Lead the strategic roadmap for Fraud Prevention across all EBANX markets and verticals.
  • Manage and evolve our fraud prevention orchestration
  • Analyze fraud performance data and co-create custom strategies per vertical, merchant, and country.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk & Compliance, Data and Commercial.
  • Lead a high-performing team, focused on fraud intelligence and prevention.
  • Build scalable governance frameworks, KPIs, reporting, and alert systems to drive performance visibility.
  • Represent the Fraud Prevention function in strategic initiatives, client discussions, and internal prioritizations.

Must-haves to shine in this role:

  • Proven experience in fraud prevention and risk management in digital payments.
  • Strong leadership and people management experience, preferably with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent command of fraud prevention tools, orchestration platforms, machine learning models, and rule-based strategies.
  • Business-savvy and performance-oriented.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, across technical and commercial teams.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with familiarity in tools such as SQL, Looker, BigQuery or similar.
  • Fluent English (Spanish is a plus).

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with global expansion and fraud challenges in emerging markets.
  • Prior involvement in the development or enhancement of internal fraud platforms.
  • Knowledge of payment method behaviors and issuer performance by region.
  • Familiarity with PCI-DSS, KYC, AML, GDPR or other risk and compliance frameworks.
