What your day-to-day will look like

 

  • Act as the technical authority and innovation driver across the Payouts journey, translating operational bottlenecks and approval challenges into strategic opportunities to improve speed, scalability, and success rates.

  • Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) on payment authorization and performance, providing technical guidance and best practices to internal stakeholders, product teams, and external partners.

  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams as the main Operations focal point, ensuring the technical roadmap addresses real conversion, scalability, and operational efficiency pain points.

  • Lead initiatives to optimize the full payout lifecycle — from order origination to final payout confirmation — including refunds, splits, and transfers, with a strong focus on approval rates and processing efficiency.

  • Develop and implement advanced analytical frameworks to monitor payout performance, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture across the organization.

  • Represent EBANX’s operational expertise in external forums and strategic discussions with banks, acquirers, and infrastructure partners, reinforcing operational requirements and performance standards.

  • Track and govern product deliveries that impact operations, ensuring requirements formalization, operational readiness, and early identification of technical or operational risks.

 

 

What you need to shine in this role

 

  • Proven experience in payments, payouts, or financial operations, with strong exposure to authorization flows, transaction processing, and performance optimization.

  • Solid technical and operational understanding of payment ecosystems, including integrations, partners, and processing infrastructures.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business and operational improvements.

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with experience building performance dashboards, KPIs, or monitoring frameworks.

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, and external partners.

  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution, with the ability to prioritize initiatives that drive measurable performance gains.

 

 

Bonus points if you have

 

  • Proven track record optimizing approval funnels and reducing operational or technical payment failures.

  • Experience testing or implementing new payment technologies, processors, or infrastructure solutions.

  • Innovation mindset with curiosity to explore alternative payout methods that reduce processing time and transaction costs.

  • Background working with high-volume payment environments or fast-scaling fintechs.

  • Exposure to data tools, SQL, BI platforms, or performance analytics solutions.
