Corporate Analytics is responsible for developing and maintaining the structure behind EBANX’s financial data Single Source of Truth (SSoT). Our team breaks down gross profit data, including revenue and costs, generating valuable insights for FP&A, Controllership, Accounting, and Commercial teams. We also work closely with Finance during the monthly financial closing process.

And we go beyond reporting. We build our own data products, including interactive HTML dashboards with integrated AI agents, a suite of financial views for leadership and the CFO, automations, and data apps. Many of these solutions are built through vibe coding, using AI-assisted development.

We are also responsible for the Corporate semantic layer and promote Self-Service Analytics across business teams by providing tools and best practices to analysts throughout the organization. Everything we build follows strong data governance standards, with documentation, metadata, lineage, and data quality at the foundation of our work.

 

What your day-to-day will look like

• Own analytical products end to end — Take full responsibility for the scope, evolution, quality, and sustainability of analytical products within the financial domain, with autonomy to prioritize and make decisions;
• Turn ambiguity into solutions — Partner closely with stakeholders to understand complex business challenges, define the right solution, and challenge requirements when a more effective approach exists;
• Build the foundation for financial analytics — Develop and evolve EBANX’s financial Single Source of Truth (SSoT) and Corporate semantic layer, creating facts, dimensions, and marts using dbt on GCP/BigQuery;
• Support critical financial processes — Work closely with Finance during the monthly financial closing process, helping ensure reliable and consistent financial data;
• Build beyond traditional dashboards — Create automations, data apps, and AI-powered analytical experiences that make financial insights more accessible and actionable. Vibe coding and AI-assisted development are part of how we build;
• Enable Self-Service Analytics — Empower business teams to work more independently with data by providing the right tools, best practices, semantic structures, and governance standards;
• Champion data governance — Help ensure documentation, metadata, lineage, data quality, and access control are embedded into the analytical products we build;
• Raise the technical bar — Act as a reference within the team, supporting less experienced colleagues in becoming more autonomous while proactively identifying problems and opportunities within your domain;

What you need to shine in this role

• Advanced SQL & dbt expertise — Strong hands-on experience with SQL and dbt, including dimensional modeling, incremental processing, testing, and documentation;
• Cloud data experience — Experience working with GCP, particularly BigQuery and Cloud Storage, with a solid understanding of data warehouse and lakehouse concepts;
• Programming & engineering practices — Ability to work beyond SQL using Python or another programming language, combined with solid practices such as Git, code reviews, and automated testing;
• AI-assisted development — Hands-on experience using AI as part of the development process, with the ability to provide the right context, critically validate outputs, and take ownership of the final result;
• Data governance mindset — Familiarity with metadata management, data quality, lineage, documentation, and access control;
• Business & stakeholder communication — Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language and confidently lead discussions with stakeholders;
• Ownership & seniority — Comfortable operating with ambiguity, defining solutions instead of waiting for fully structured requirements, and taking responsibility for outcomes rather than only execution;
• English proficiency — Comfortable using English in day-to-day communication, including documentation, meetings, and conversations with global teams;

 

What will make you stand out

• Financial data experience — Exposure to areas such as gross profit, P&L, budgeting, treasury, FX, reconciliation, or other financial datasets;
• Modern analytical products — Experience building data apps, working with semantic layers or MCP, or applying specification-driven development (SDD);
• Product mindset for data — Experience treating analytics solutions as products, continuously evolving them based on user needs, business impact, quality, and scalability;
