Security Engineer II

Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).
Echodyne is seeking a Security Engineer II to join our fast-growing team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform secure development work in partnership with engineering teams.
- Run and review security scans across applications, code, dependencies, and supporting systems.
- Identify weaknesses, triage findings, and suggest practical remediation steps and security improvements.
- Help integrate security checks into the software development lifecycle and delivery pipelines.
- Track recurring issues and recommend process or technical changes to improve overall security posture.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Experience with secure software development practices.
- Familiarity with security scanning tools for code, dependencies, containers, or infrastructure.
- Ability to assess findings and communicate remediation guidance clearly to developers.
- Working knowledge of common application security risks and secure coding principles.
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
(Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)
- Experience automating security checks in CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management and remediation workflows.
- Experience working directly with development teams to drive security improvements.

This is an exempt role.
The expected annual salary range for this role is
$114,330 - $170,980 USD
