Echodyne is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our fast-growing team! 

POSISTION SUMMARY

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support across a range of Human Resources functions, with primary responsibility for coordinating the new hire onboarding process and I-9 execution and verification. This role also supports offboarding, benefits administration, training tracking, compliance documentation, HR reporting, and employee and manager requests. The HR Coordinator helps ensure HR processes are completed accurately and on time, employee records and data are maintained appropriately, and the HR team has reliable information and administrative support to respond to business needs.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Coordinate the new employee onboarding process, including processing onboarding tickets, preparing and communicating first-day agendas, coordinating required new hire activities, managing background checks, and helping ensure a smooth and timely onboarding experience.
  • Execute and verify Form I-9 requirements for new hires and applicable reverifications, ensuring documentation is completed accurately and timely in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with employee exits by submitting exit tickets and preparing offboarding documentation.
    Support benefits administration and open enrollment communications by helping employees with questions and updating enrollments in the HRIS.
  • Process monthly benefit invoices and provide copies to Accounting for reconciliation.
  • Track employee training completion and assist with reporting as requested.
  • Prepare, maintain, and support recurring and ad hoc HR reports, including compiling and validating employee data and responding to HR-related data and information requests.
  • Assist in preparation of HR compliance reporting, including federal, state, and local requirements (e.g., AAP, CA pay data, VET 4212).
  • Respond to routine HR-related questions and requests from employees and managers, providing general guidance on HR policies, procedures, systems, and processes and escalating matters as appropriate.
  • Conduct basic research on HR policies, procedures, compliance updates, and employee data requests when requested.
  • Support the HR team with ad hoc administrative tasks, reporting needs, audits, data validation, and special projects.

BASIC PROFICIENCIES

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams; ability to organize, validate, and report on HR data using Excel and HR systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and employee lifecycle tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and customer service communication skills, with the ability to respond professionally to employee and manager requests.
  • Understanding of general HR policies, procedures, administrative practices, employee records, and onboarding compliance requirements.
  • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism and maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee information and HR data.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 year minimum HR or administrative experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

The hourly rate for this role is

$28.82 - $43.99 USD
