You will make an impact: 

The Technical Product Engineer is an integral part of the development and delivery of our elluminate® software product, operating at the intersection of product management, customer success, and engineering. This role focuses on advancing elluminate’s capabilities by developing and prototyping new capabilities using R, Python, and other tools, while also providing technical expertise to ensure successful customer adoption of advanced functionality. By combining technical excellence with a deep understanding of user needs, the Technical Product Engineer plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the elluminate platform.

Your day to day: 

  • Develop, test, and maintain tools, scripts, and prototypes that enhance elluminate’s functionality.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and support the product team by providing technical insights during feature development and release planning.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure seamless integration of new capabilities into the platform.
  • Create and maintain out-of-the-box libraries and reusable components to enable customers’ rapid adoption and effective use of the elluminate Statistical Computing Environment (SCE) and other products.
  • Gain a deep understanding of unmet customer and market needs to conceive and pursue innovative solutions that automate and accelerate delivery, address clinical development challenges, and fill product gaps.
  • Generate new ideas and products that grow market share, improve the customer experience, and drive revenue growth.
  • Represent eClinical Solutions during prospect and client interactions to showcase our vision, gain buy-in, and drive excitement for the elluminate platform, with a focus on advanced technical solutions.
  • Assist customers with advanced technical integrations and configurations of elluminate features.
  • Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve implementation challenges.
  • Develop and deliver documentation, guides, and training materials to ensure successful customer adoption.

Qualifications: 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry clinical development process

Professional Skills

  • 3+ years in technical support, product development, or implementation roles within software or SaaS platforms.
  • Background in life sciences, clinical research, or healthcare technology preferred.
  • Experience with data-driven applications, analytics platforms, or data pipelines.
  • Thorough understanding of software design principles, patterns, and practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in R and Python for data analysis, prototyping, and algorithm development.
  • Experience with APIs, cloud platforms, and database technologies (SQL).
  • Familiarity with clinical data standards (e.g., CDISC SDTM) is a strong plus.
