Manager, Global Sales Operations

The Manager of Global Sales Operations will be responsible for leading and optimizing the sales operation’s function, ensuring the effective use of sales technology, including Salesforce.com, and driving sales process improvements and sales enablement initiatives. This role will also be responsible for weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting as outlined by the CBO to provide transparency and monitoring of the success of the department. This role will play a critical part in supporting the global sales team to achieve revenue goals and enhance overall sales productivity and reporting.

Your day to day:
- Sales Technology Management:
o Oversee the administration, optimization and hygiene of Salesforce.com and own sales related technologies such as Gong and Hubspot utilized by the company. Evaluate the effectiveness and usage across the company and enhance workflows to ensure desired outcomes met and maximize ROI
o Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CRM system
o Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate sales tools and technologies where desired
o Perform ongoing evaluation of sales technologies entering the market - Sales Process Optimization:
o Develop and implement efficient sales processes and workflows
o Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to drive sales pipeline growth, productivity and forecasting predictability
o Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
o Create, update and maintain needed reporting structures to facilitate transparency and monitor the progress of the department in relation to its goals and objectives - Sales Enablement:
o Design and deliver sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team
o Develop sales collateral, tools, and resources to support, enhance and improve the sales process
o Collaborate with marketing, proposals and solution consulting teams to align sales and marketing strategies - Strategic Planning:
o Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement departmental strategic planning
o Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred
- 5+ years of proven experience in sales operations, sales enablement, or a similar role in a life science company preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com and other innovative sales technologies such as Gong, Hubspot, Microsoft Office suite
