Eclipse Trading is one of Asia's leading proprietary derivatives trading firms. The successful candidate will be part of our Business Development team and will be based in Shanghai. This is an onsite role which will report to the Senior Business Development Manager who is also based in Shanghai.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide administrative support to the Senior Business Development Manager and Trading team, assisting with business development initiatives, executing specific priorities, and handling operational tasks
• Assist in maintaining solid relationships with external stakeholders including brokers, vendors and custodians, to support business objectives
• Assist in responding to enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner, ensuring high-quality delivery
• Work with the Technology team to ensure business requirements are understood and act as a central point of contact to assist with any queries requiring external input
• Support and assist the Senior Business Development Manager and other teams under the Eclipse Group with various ad-hoc duties when required

What you offer

• University graduate or equivalent degree from a reputable university, preferably in Economics, Law, Finance, or Business Administration. Other disciplines with a demonstrated interest in finance (e.g., CPA/CFA enrollment) are also welcome
• Hand-on experience in the operations of private securities funds in China is preferred
• Highest level of integrity, long-term orientation, strong commitment to accuracy, and transparent and respectful communication
• At least 1 year working experience in China’s private securities fund sector, or stock/futures/commodities markets, or relevant experience in the sell-side or buy-side
• Can do attitude with structural thinking, strong organisation skills, and the ability to drive forward initiatives
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (or a demonstrated willingness to learn)
• Good knowledge of operational and regulatory requirements in China’s secondary markets
• Native fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
