Eclipse Trading is one of Asia's leading proprietary derivatives trading firms. Founded in 2007, we have over 100 employees across 4 office locations – Hong Kong (our HQ), Sydney, Shanghai and Chicago. Our trading expertise and strategies are deployed across several markets globally, focusing on various products including equity derivatives, delta one, ETFs, commodity derivatives, and cryptocurrency. Reporting into the Head of Human Resources, the successful candidate will be responsible for the end of end recruitment efforts across multiple client groups at Eclipse Trading. This is a 1-year contract full-time on-site position based in our Hong Kong office.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the recruitment, selection, hiring and onboarding process to ensure the hiring needs are met
- Identify future hiring needs and develop job descriptions and specifications
- Source and pipeline qualified candidates through a wide variety of channels (e.g. online and internal databases, employee referrals, events, networking, research, etc.), both for open roles as well as building future pipeline
- Screen, interview and assess quality talent who are the best fit for the role and aligned with Eclipse’s culture and values
- Partner with other members in the Recruitment team in managing the end-to-end recruitment process for graduate hiring and internship programs
- Manage and work with recruitment agencies when required
- Share meaningful market intelligence with management to ensure our market competitiveness
- Gather and analyse recruitment data to management
- Act as the brand ambassador for Eclipse and manage candidate communications
- Support other ad hoc projects as and when necessary
What you offer
- University graduate or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant in-house recruitment experience – ideally recruiting for technical positions (trading, technology and quantitative)
- Experience in Banking, Trading and Finance/IT would be an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR systems and applicant tracking systems (e.g. Greenhouse) is a plus
- Highly resourceful, analytical, Innovative, creative and results oriented
- Interpersonally effective and comfortable interacting with employees at all levels and with different cultural backgrounds
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and result-driven environment of change, challenge and multiple deadlines and priorities
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with a professional, highly confidential and consultative approach
- Knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage.
